I'm having issues with the AutoStartRichPresence plugin

If your AutoStartRichPresence plugin does not work then it's because the plugin is old and somewhat outdated. So, a better alternative to the plugin are the RP applications NTTS has covered. Follow either one of those videos instead. Also, these methods are safer to use compared to the BD plugin.
